Secure or Lost

When it comes to faith and religion often people make certain decision to follow certain things on the basis of a religious leader’s conviction or just take side of a big crowd. Therefore conviction is made not on the basis of own rational thinking rather on the conviction of certain leader’s what he said is true and being with a large follower of same belief means absolute truth.

No doubt fourteen years ago I had same way of thinking, was proud of my ex-faith, zeal for doing and dying but literally was self-righteous, within nothing only emptiness, self-defeated life, and totally lost with fear that two angels were sitting on my shoulders constantly writing down all my good and evil deeds. I knew that the angel on my left shoulder would reach Allah right after my death with the record of my evil deeds. Even if my evil deeds should be as small as a particle of sand, Allah would still send me to hell.

I could not understand my problem until I read Rom 7:18 “For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it. 7:19 For I do not do the good I want, but I do the very evil I do not want! 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me” 8:3 For God achieved what the law could not do because it was weakened through the flesh. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 8:4 so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” 3:20 For no one is declared righteous before him by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin” 3:24 But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

After having this wonderful truth of God for all mankind and Christian being the first recipient of word of our Lord Jesus Christ yet the large number of Christians today are the same like what I was before and like many others, in top ten number one Hypocrites, Self-Righteous, legalistic, Empty and  Self-defeated, they produce nothing good but stink like rotten eggs around.

Today the high rate of false teachers of the bible and new emerging cults groups are more in Christianity than any other pagan religions of this present age. Percentage of Christian Organizations and missions are the most corrupt and after money making business than any secular corrupt government organizations today. If you watch some of the mega Christian TV channels of today. Even if you have little decrements you would find the extent of deception preached  widely air worldwide by these so called pastors, reverend and doctorate preachers and teachers in the bible and psychology.

Today’s message of Christianity something like what someone has said: “A God without wrath brings people without sin, into a kingdom without judgment, to a Christ without a cross.”

Questions to consider:

  • Do all Christians have gone astray into deception of this age?
  • Do all these things nullify the truth of the Bible?
  • Is the teaching of Christ faulty?
  • Will all these things ruin the plan of God for His Church?

NOT AT ALL ……!!! I am thankful to my God for revealing His eternal truth of salvation in and through ONLY Christ Jesus. I am thankful to Him for calling me by my name  into His fold of security.  I still enjoy the fullness of Christ and live my each day with full assurance and eagerly waiting for His second coming for me and for His true followers according to His promise.  As it is written “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11)And in that day, “every eye shall see him” for “he shall come with power and great glory” (Rev. 1:7; Luke 21:27).

When I see a part of ugly picture of Christianity that does not discourage me AT ALL instead of being sad or disappointed I look at Christ with great joy that how much He has been true to  me and to His people….Did He not say and warn us in advance that  “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11)

I am not impressed what many say and write, recession of world economic, rising of terrorism, war in the Middle East and rising up a New World Order are the signs of His  Second coming?  To me above all these most important things to note that in the last days will be DECEPTION ….DECEPTION  the greatest sign of His coming “For false Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect? if that were possible. (Mat 24:24)

He also said: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves” (Matthew 7:15). False teachers are false not only in doctrine but also in their appearance. They pretend to be something they are not. On the inside they are vicious wolves who kill and scatter the sheep. But they wear a sheepskin to trick the sheep.

Peter warns Christians of all ages: “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways” (2 Peter 2:1,2)

Paul told the elders at Ephesus: “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves” (Acts 20:29,30).

John warned: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1)

These warnings of Christ and His apostles would be futile if there were no way to distinguish between those who speak the truth and those who teach error and those who pretend to be christian though they are not.

I Therefore still preach and teach the gospel of Christ Jesus to all because without Him no other way to reach almighty God…

If you are a Muslim and defeated and living with  empty life and fed up with your self-righteous religiosity and rituals and living with guilt and fear of Sin and wrath of god. Here is a good news for you. Isa the Christ says “Come to me, all of you who are weary and loaded down with burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Don’t evaluate Christ and His teaching by seeing Christians around  might have given you bad impression of Christianity look unto Him and Him alone.  Once you start your journey of faith in Christ ,there are people of God down the road you will find  to uphold you and there you will find the full-fullness of Christ.

In conclusion: No matter what extent Christians may go astray by the deception of this present age still God’ word and His plan for His church will stand for ever.. a better picture we can see when God asked Elijah ‘What are you doing here?  He replied,‘I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too’” (1 Kings 19:9-10).
Elijah complained to God that the entire nation of Israel had rejected Him. But God knew better. He told Elijah that He had reserved “seven thousand in Israel…whose knees have not bowed down to Baal” (1 Kings 19:18). Elijah wasn’t alone after all.
