While chatting with some  Muslim friends Online from Middle Eastern countries.  Often I have been asked  Questions “What is your stand with the present Jewish People?  Will all Jewish go to heaven? and etc …”

I never thought I would be asked such questions more than Christ and the Bible but it was  not a hard for me to reply  them in a very short sentence.  But surely it gave me a reason to do my  personal study on today’s Jewish people specially from the view of Apostal Paul in Romans chapter 11.

Today there are lots of Christian Websites ( eg: Christian United For Israel ) and many home TV Channels have been seen quoting following verses widely in their talks.

  1. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” Ps 122:6 ( KJV)
  2. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Gen 12:3 (KJV)

Today TV Channels are full of many heretics’ preachers manipulating poor Christians by saying that Heavenly Father would bring breakthrough if we bless Israel (Jewish people) the end of the verses above mentioned Prosperity and blessing will come true.

Have you heard number of times with these so called prosperity preachers saying “ This time the breakthrough is achieving the magnanimous feat of planting 1,000,000 trees in the Israeli desert.  If you donate to God-TV, the Alecs’ will plant a “thank you” tree in your honor in the holy land”

That is exactly happening what it happened in the Old Testament Jewish people always  looked and sought for Prosperity and Health , Wealth and Land same way like today’s  many Ignorant Old Covenant Christians stand up in the Church and congregation and shout  and say let us pray  Particularly for Jewish people and  Nation of Israel. Their driving force and motive some way or other connected to be blessed if they do so to the Nation of Israel ( Jewish People).

Scriptures plainly teach that the nation of Israel was set aside at Calvary and that God’s dealing with them now is the same as His dealings with the Gentiles: “For there is no respect of persons with God: there is no difference between Jew and Gentile for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 2:1, 3:22-23).

This precious truth of true believers being the true Israel of God has been lost among the rubble and trash of the false teaching of the past 150 years which says that God will yet deal with Israel as a nation, His chosen nation, and that most all of the promises of the Old Testament given to Israel are physical promises and not spiritual and that the Jew will again arise as the chosen people of God.

20th century Israel is not the chosen nation of God; they cannot be, for they have rejected Christ as their Messiah just like the 1st century did. They abide under the curse of God as unbelievers. The only chosen nation today are both Jews and Gentiles who have been born again by the Spirit of God and have availed themselves of the blessings of the gospel of the grace of God in Christ. These only “are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people” (1Pet 2:9).

All arguments  supporting Israel / Today’s Jewish People are  nothing but a HUMBUG , deceiving and false  eschatology . Today it is not only misleading and manipulating Christians but deceiving  and giving false hope to poor Jewish people too.

I love Jewish people just as I love Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. My burden that they may be saved by GRACE ALONE  through faith in Christ Jesus.…. Today God’s is not bothering about a tiny Nation like Israel or a particular group of people like Jewish but whole world and people of it.   “…..Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:3-4) not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance” (2 Pet. 3:9).

Peter Hoover a brother in Christ who has been a great encouragement to Ali Hamid from Gaza Strip.  I asked him to share his view on present  Jewish Nation from biblical perspective. I have always liked his writing and he could write some good notes that I wanted to post on this site.  Here it begins.

War is war, many are saying. “These people are nothing but thugs,” according to a spokesman from the White House today, who indicated the Palestinians are getting just what they deserve. Whether that is true or untrue I will not get into now, but what forces me to speak is the fact that so many of my Christian friends have gotten emotionally involved in this conflict, cheering on what they believe are the forces of God’s kingdom (Israel) in triumph over his enemies (the Arabs/Palestinians) in fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

I believe I would be sinning before God, guilty of innocent blood, if I held my peace and refused to consider with you — today — the following questions:

Who lives in the Gaza Strip?

The Gaza Strip, a tiny fringe of territory (40 km long, 10 km wide) between Israel and Egypt, is populated today by one and a half million Palestinians. Most of these people are second or third generation refugees, crowded off their land by Jewish terrorists who overthrew British rule and took over Palestine in 1948. Blowing up village after village, massacring many thousands in the process, Jewish fighters bulldozed their bodies into trenches — a story told in Elias Chacour’s unforgettable book “Blood Brothers.” The majority of Palestinians are Muslim, but many among them are Arabic Christians, such as Elia ( Name is Changed), the people of his home village, and our brother Ali Hamid ( Name is Changed)  in Gaza.

Who were the Jews that took Palestine?

Beginning in the late 1800s Jewish settlers, known as Zionists, began to buy land and build agricultural settlements in Palestine, under the blessing of the Ottoman Turkish government. They lived in peace with their Palestinian neighbours, who took them in as “blood brothers” (thinking of their common ancestor, Abraham). But in the 1930s and 40s, after Turkish Palestine fell into British hands, several terrorist organisations — among them the infamous Haganah, led by David Ben Gurion — rose to prominence among the Zionists. Within a short time they devastated hundreds of Palestinian towns, killing off all inhabitants they did not drive away. In 1948 these terrorists, in control of about half of Palestine, declared Israel an independent nation (with US backing) and David Ben Gurion became its first prime minister.

Were these Jews God’s “chosen people,” doing God’s will?

Only a tiny minority among the Zionists that settled in the new nation of Israel were Semitic people and descendants of Abraham (Sephardic or Yemeni Jews). The vast majority were Ashkenazim — German, Polish or Russian-speaking north Europeans, descended from a people known as Kazars, with no “blood line” to Abraham (let alone to Israel, or to the tribe of Judah) whatsoever. For more information on the Kazars and their Ashkenazi descendants see the book, “The Thirteenth Tribe,” by the Jewish scholar, Arthur Koestler.

Whatever the case, no flesh and blood (not even Abraham’s flesh and blood) can inherit the Kingdom of God. When the Jews rejected Jesus, “the Kingdom of God was taken away from them and given to a people that would produce its fruit” (Matthew 21:43). It was never, and can never, be given back to a corrupt earthly nation.

Didn’t the persecuted Jews deserve a resting place after the horrors of what they suffered under the Nazis (the Holocaust) in the 1940s?

The Jews suffered much during the second World War (as did everyone else), but fantastic stories have grown up around the Holocaust that do not stand well in the light of honest investigation (such as the actual figure of those that perished, the manner in which they perished, etc.). Whatever the case, no amount of injustice suffered by the Jews justifies what happened in Palestine after the war. Neither shall God’s kingdom ever come through violent and treacherous means (Matthew 12:18-21).

Doesn’t the New Testament promise the salvation of “all Israel” and the restoration of the Israelite nation?

The promise is not to Abraham’s natural descendants but to those who are Jews inwardly (Romans 2:28) — “all Israel,” the “Israel of God,” being the Jewish remnant that believes in Jesus, along with all other Christian believers, made kings and priests, a holy nation, God’s elect, the meek, who shall inherit the earth. Those who now “claim to be Jews,” on the other hand, are not real Jews at all but liars. The “synagogue of Satan” according to Jesus (Revelation 3:9).

The True Israel of God

Why do Evangelical Christians believe God is working through the modern nation of Israel to accomplish his purpose in the end times?

During the 1800s an English revival group founded by John Nelson Darby (the so called “Plymouth Brethren”) developed the idea of Israel’s restoration in the end times. The idea has undergone an infinite number of adjustments and variations since then, but it caught the imagination of Western Evangelicals, especially in America, after 1948 and the birth of the Israeli nation. Since then, and largely because of this influence, America has lent its support to Israel, believing it the work and calling of God.

Is modern Israel a fulfillment of Bible prophecy?

The early Christians believed that if the Jews ever regained control of Jerusalem and Palestine it would be thanks to the power and under the authority of the Antichrist.

Few modern Israelis are descendants of Abraham. The Palestinians have a better claim to Abrahamic descent.

No modern Israelis keep God’s laws or worship him as God asked them to. Modern secular Jews are largely agnostic or believe, at best, in a vague deism. All religious Jews are heavily influenced by the Kabbala movement of the early Middle Ages, with its unabashed occultic connections. Orthodox Jews, the Lubavicher sect in particular, are Kabbalistic and occultic in the extreme.

The modern Israeli state has made itself outstanding, even in a materialistic and godless world, for its violence, its greed, its money-oriented corruption. None of this meshes, even remotely, with Bible prophecy concerning the restoration or final state of the Kingdom of God. All of it speaks, not of Christ and his earthly reign, but of Antichrist and his terrible rule.

Shall Christ come, the second time, through Antichrist? Shall the devil and his works herald the dawn of the Kingdom of God?

* * * * *

I was grateful, today, to hear the calm courageous voice of Brother Ali Hamid ( Name is Changed) in Gaza, speaking with concern for both his Palestinian people (many of whom hate and abuse him for being a Christian) and their Israeli attackers.  Peace on earth, goodwill to men. He assured me he still has food for several days in his house (even though the power is off, they are out of cooking gas, and others have come to his house for shelter from the conflict). Reports say the Israelis had dumped a hundred tonnes of bombs onto Gaza by this morning.

So where does this put you and me?

Can we pray for our fellow-believers — as for the unbelievers — of the Gaza strip? Can we pray that commanders and soldiers and insurgents alike would rediscover their common humanity, pointed to by Christ, and stop killing one another (along with one another’s wives and children)?

Or does our religion force us to applaud and cheer on the armies of the invading Jews, believing they represent the advance of the coming kingdom of God?

If we could have seen today’s Israeli nation — for a moment — through the eyes of the dying boy in the picture above, we might have seen something else along with it.

The Truth.

It will make all the world’s difference in what we have coming.

Actually I’ve started to see this also. A few years ago I read Blood Brothers by Elias Chacour and I realised that my bias against Palestinians and towards Israelis was wrong and ungodly. I realised the God loves all equally. As I continued to read on this subject I have come to discover that there are 4 different Israels. These are 1. Political Israel in the world today. 2. Historical Israel - as recorded in scripture. 3. Spiritual Israel - the Church and 4. Israel the person, the son of Isaac and the grandson of Abraham. So considering all of that I’ve realised that when reading scripture I must know which Israel is being referred to - and Political Israel never warrants a mention there at all. Its either the Israel of history - or the Church.
